The Best Golf Clothing for Women
By Paula Bennett
It’s no secret that women have decided to get on the golf course during the pandemic. Golf has become a significant sport for women. We want to spend more time outside, be active, get exercise walking the course, and, yes, compete! Walking the gorgeous fairways can be relaxing and fun, especially with your girlfriends.
Golf has also become quite fashionable. It’s not just outdated visors anymore! Women’s golf apparel has become a significant industry with genuinely cute options.
Let’s face it: leisure and a “sporty look“ has become a billion-dollar business. Many of the major brands, including Lululemon, Alo Yoga, Tory Burch, Athleta, Adidas, Nike Women’s, Callaway, Under Armour, and Puma, are all making both men’s and women’s golf clothes and all-day wear golf attire: golf polos, vests, v-necks, sweaters, pullovers.
You can even shop on Amazon for golf clothes, and there you will find many long-sleeved polos, golf shirts, golf pants, pullovers, half zips, skirts, skirts, and leggings in XXS and XXL sizes. Golf clothes are made for all shapes and sizes!
Many golf clubs have stringent clothing requirements and a “dress code” for women, so make sure before you play that you know the rules, especially with the length of your skirt. Some clubs don’t want you to wear anything too short.
What makes for good golf clothing?
Everyone agreed that wearing breathable moisture-wicking apparel is critical. Some women golfers require that, just like in tennis dresses or skirts, there be a pocket for your ball too.
Who makes the best golf clothing?
The PGA considered these five brands to be the best in women’s golf at their PGA show in 2022: Ibkul, Southern tide, Kilo Tango, Smith and Quinn, and Kinona. Their motto is “golf clothes for women who hate their golf clothes,” who wouldn’t love that?
